When we endure trauma, we can often normalize it and get stuck in it by stuffing it and not wanting to deal with it. A critical step in working through trauma happens when we find the courage to acknowledge that change is necessary.

Our feelings are often an indicator that something is wrong and that we need to make a change. Our guest, Heather, reminds us that God has a plan for our lives and anything we've been through we can grow and learn from. She outlines steps she has found useful in her journey of healing. She encourgares us to be aware of uncomfortable feelings and the message they are giving us to make a change and seek help.
